ICAO civil aviation legal forum to gather international air law community in Bahamas in May

Registration for CALAF/4 is now open.

The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) will hold the fourth Civil Aviation Legal Advisers Forum (CALAF/4) in Nassau, Bahamas, from May 27 to 29, bringing together aviation lawyers, regulators and industry representatives to address legal challenges shaping the future of air transport.

The forum will cover aviation safety, security and facilitation, with contributions from states, industry bodies, academia and legal practitioners. Participants will examine recent developments in international air law, regulatory best practices and emerging issues facing the civil aviation sector, with a focus on innovation and sustainability.

Registration for CALAF/4 is now open. Participants requiring a complimentary badge voucher should review the applicable registration categories and contact Virginia Tavella at vtavella@icao.int. A valid passport and registration confirmation will be required at the registration desk.

New to this edition, the forum will include an exhibition component allowing sponsors and exhibitors to showcase services directly to the international aviation law and regulatory community.

The event is aimed at civil aviation legal advisers and regulators, practitioners in international and air law, airline and airport operators, air navigation service providers, aircraft manufacturers, maintenance organisations and academic institutions.
