On a stretch of coastline roughly 90 minutes west of Karachi, Khoj Resorts Allana is positioning itself as Pakistan’s first genuine luxury beachfront destination, offering an Arabian Sea retreat with direct access to one of South Asia’s most biodiverse marine sites at nearby Churna Island.
The resort sits on the Balochistan coast just west of Karachi, where each room is a private villa with its own plunge pool and terrace, set within an enclosed beachfront property. A 10,000 sq ft spa with male and female hammams, sauna, jacuzzi, plunge pool and treatment rooms sits alongside two adult infinity pools and a separate children’s pool.

Activities on site range from beach volleyball and kayaking to guided fishing trips, with the resort’s chef available to prepare catches on request. Private beach and poolside cabanas are available for day hire.
International travellers fly into Jinnah International Airport (KHI) in Karachi, from where the resort is approximately 90 minutes by road. Khoj Resorts Third-party booking platforms list nightly rates from around $231.
The main draw for international visitors, however, lies offshore. Churna Island sits roughly 9 km west of Khoj Allana, an uninhabited island with clear waters, coral reefs and a wide variety of fish, reachable in around 45 minutes by boat from the resort.
The island sits at the boundary between the provinces of Balochistan and Sindh, rising to 72 metres above sea level. Its surrounding reef supports marine life including green turtles, rays, sea snakes, mahi-mahi, barracuda and angel fish, drawing divers, snorkellers and freedivers. Water temperatures are warm enough year-round to dive without a wetsuit across most sections of the reef.

The Pakistan Game Fishing Association holds national angling competitions near the island, and water sports on offer include cliff diving, jet skiing, wakesurfing and underwater photography.
For travellers seeking overland day trips, Hingol National Park lies approximately three and a half hours from the resort, offering access to the Princess of Hope rock formation, mud cliffs and the chance to spot the Sindh Ibex, Persian Leopard and Balochistan Bear.
