Sicily’s Verdura Resort to host fifth edition of ALMA wellness festival in September

Sicily

Verdura Resort, the Rocco Forte property on Sicily’s southwest coast, will host the fifth edition of ALMA by ANÍMA from September 17 to 20, 2026, bringing together practitioners, longevity physicians and wellness industry figures for a four-day immersive programme.

The festival, which has previously been held in Ibiza and the Swiss Alps, centres this year on Mediterranean longevity principles, with sessions led by longevity physician Dr. Ingrid Yang, movement coach Kim Strother and breathwork practitioner Rob Rea.

A dedicated excursion will take guests to Caltabellotta, a nearby village increasingly cited in longevity research as an emerging Blue Zone, Emerging Travel has learned in recent hours.

“The framework for longevity has existed in Sicily for centuries, woven into how the Sicilians eat, move, rest, and show up for each other,” said Dr. Yang. “ALMA is an opportunity to experience these principles not as a concept, but as a lived practice.”

Packages are priced from €3,928 per person for a three-night stay in a seaview room, including full board and full programme access. A three-bedroom seaview villa option is available from €4,143 per person on a single occupancy basis.

Verdura Resort spans 230 hectares with 1.8 km of private coastline, 203 rooms and suites, and 20 private villas.
