SWISS to launch Toulouse service and expand flights across Europe and Asia

Swiss

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will add Toulouse to its network and increase frequencies to Asian destinations under its summer 2027 schedule, which runs from March 28 to October 30.

The airline will connect Zurich with the southern French city twice weekly from June 25 to August 23, 2027. Toulouse is one of Europe’s most important aerospace and innovation hubs and serves as a starting point for exploring the Occitanie region and the nearby Pyrenees.

The expansion shows SWISS is betting on sustained demand for both European city breaks and long-haul business travel, strengthening Zurich’s position as a hub connecting Swiss companies to key markets.

“A strong route network is built on the right connections to the destinations that matter most to our customers. With our 2027 summer schedule, we are taking the next step and selectively expanding our network where we can create the greatest value,” said SWISS CEO Jens Fehlinger.

In Europe, SWISS will serve Paris 30 times per week instead of 28, while Nice will increase from 32 to 34 weekly flights. Frequencies will also rise to Hamburg, Budapest and Bremen. The airline will operate flights to Niš in Serbia throughout the summer season, increasing from two to three flights per week after reintroducing the route in summer 2026. The carrier will continue its new Bengaluru service, launching in the winter 2026/27 timetable, throughout summer 2027. Tokyo will see daily flights until the end of May and again in October, with frequencies rising from five to six weekly flights between June and September.

“We continue to see strong demand across Asia. With Bengaluru and additional flights to Tokyo, we are strengthening our links to two important business and innovation hubs,” Fehlinger said.

SWISS will also expand its Montreal service, operating the route daily instead of five times a week during summer 2027. The schedule comprises 95 destinations from Zurich, two more than in summer 2026, made up of 69 European and 26 intercontinental destinations. Details of the summer 2027 Geneva schedule remain pending.
