Vietjet adds new routes to Philippines and Thailand

Vietjet is expanding its international network with new flights linking Vietnam to the Philippines, Thailand and Japan.

As reported by Vietnam Plus, the Vietnamese carrier will introduce three routes to the Philippines from November 10, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Cebu, Hanoi with Cebu, and Ho Chi Minh City with Clark.

Also, each route will operate three return flights a week, strengthening tourism and business links between Vietnam and the Philippines.

The Hanoi-Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City-Clark services will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Ho Chi Minh City-Cebu flights will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return services operating on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Vietjet will also begin direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Chiang Mai in northern Thailand from October 25. The route will operate four return flights weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, taking passengers to Chiang Mai in just over two hours.

Meanwhile, a new Da Nang-Osaka Kansai service will start on December 20, operating four return flights each week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Domestically, Vietjet will resume flights from Da Lat to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Vinh and Da Nang on August 19, improving access to the Central Highlands destination.

To mark the launch, Vietjet is offering promotional fares from August 18-20. Eco tickets are available from zero Vietnamese dong, excluding taxes and fees, while SkyBoss and Deluxe fares receive 20% off with the code HIVJ20. The offer covers selected international and domestic routes, with travel valid from September 7, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
