Maximum Exposure Ltd has launched a new English-language newsletter for the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, bringing the country’s environmental news to an international audience.
The free monthly newsletter delivers Uzbekistan’s latest environmental developments direct to subscribers’ inboxes, opening a regular English-language channel on a region whose climate and sustainability agenda has been gaining international attention.
The June issue leads with highlights from the Global Environment Facility and Eco Expo Central Asia 2026, alongside President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s proposal to designate Samarkand as the “Green Capital of Investment and Innovation of Central Asia.”
It also covers plans for the creation of the Ulugbek Sustainable Development Research Institute, and a new biodiversity finance course launched by Green University, the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies.
Among the start-ups featured is ECOPOTS, a venture from Karakalpakstan that removes plastic from potted plants, alongside a calendar of environmental dates through June and July.
