Thailand’s Central shopping centres launch tourist campaign with discounts across five malls

Thailand’s Central shopping centres have launched Summer Holiday 2026, a campaign offering shopping discounts to international tourists across five malls, the operator said on July 31. The campaign runs from July 20 to September 30.

The push targets foreign visitors during the low season, when Thailand’s inbound arrivals typically soften, and leans on retail tourism to draw spending from long-haul and regional travellers. Central Pattana, the mall operator, has been building year-round events and festivals into its centres to lift footfall and tourist spending.

The campaign covers centralwOrld, Central Park Bangkok, Central Village Bangkok Luxury Outlet, Central Phuket and Central Pattaya. centralwOrld carries more than 600 brands, while Central Park Bangkok, connected to the BTS and MRT networks, holds over 550 retail and dining brands alongside a rooftop park. Central Phuket houses luxury labels including Dior, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Prada, several of which opened their first stores outside Bangkok at the mall.

International visitors can claim a welcome package with discounts of up to 50% at more than 100 brands. Shoppers spending over THB6,000 ($185) receive a limited-edition tote bag featuring Thai motifs such as the tuk-tuk, elephant and Muay Thai.

Emirates passengers receive VIP lounge access at centralwOrld and Central Village, while Emirates Holidays customers get a complimentary shuttle between the two sites. Fazaa Card members can access offers at centralwOrld, Central Park Bangkok, Central Village and Central Phuket.

Why it matters for the trade

The July-to-September window is Thailand’s green season, so a retail campaign built around discounts and airline tie-ups is a play for shoulder-season spend. The Emirates and Fazaa partnerships point squarely at the Gulf market, which delivers high-yield shoppers and pairs well with luxury outlet product. For operators, the shuttle link between centralwOrld and Central Village Luxury Outlet is a packageable half-day for premium clients, and the lounge access is a tangible add-on for Emirates-routed itineraries. Agents selling Phuket can now anchor a shopping day around brands that previously required a Bangkok leg.
