Virgin Atlantic has scheduled the start of nonstop flights from London Heathrow to Phuket for October 18, adding a winter link between the UK and Thailand, according to the airline’s published timetable.

The seasonal service will operate three times a week using Boeing 787 aircraft. Departures from Heathrow are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with flights arriving in Thailand the following day.

Heathrow Phuket flights add winter capacity

Return services from Phuket are scheduled for Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, starting on October 19. Virgin Atlantic Holidays lists the outbound winter programme through March 27, 2027.

The route gives UK travellers a nonstop option for Phuket and access to nearby resort areas such as Khao Lak and Krabi. The airline is also selling flight-and-hotel packages through its holidays business.

Heathrow includes Phuket among its new routes for 2026 and identifies Terminal 3 as the departure terminal.

The schedule establishes the planned launch date. Neither the airline information reviewed nor Heathrow’s route announcement confirms that the inaugural flight has departed.
