Air Canada is adding capacity on its Toronto-Paris route over the holiday season, lifting service from seven to 10 weekly flights between Toronto Pearson and Charles de Gaulle from December 18 to January 10, according to schedule data from Aeroroutes.
The carrier currently operates a daily service on the route and will add flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with extra return legs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The additional flights will be operated by a mix of Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
The seasonal boost fits a wider Air Canada push to grow its transatlantic network, which the carrier has said will be North America’s second largest by destinations next summer, with new European routes added across its Toronto, Montreal and Halifax gateways.
The airline has also been investing in its ground product, opening city-themed airport cafés at its main Canadian hubs as part of a lounge-network overhaul running through 2026.
Toronto-Paris is one of the busier transatlantic leisure and business corridors out of Canada, and the year-end period typically sees a spike in demand around Christmas and New Year travel. The extra frequencies give the carrier more seats to sell into the peak before service reverts to daily in mid-January.
