Tierra del Sol by Iberostar will host the runway shows for the 10th edition of Aruba Fashion Week, with sister property JOIA Aruba by Iberostar named the event’s official accommodation host.

The four-day event runs from 19 to 22 November, with shows on 20 and 21 November at Tierra del Sol on Aruba’s rugged northern coast, near Palm Beach. This year’s theme, “Winds of Fashion”, puts the island’s wind at the centre of the collections.

Aruban designers Elisa Lejuez and Maison Ryon are among those showing, and the event also features local models and production crews. The organisers say the anniversary edition aims to connect international designers with Aruban talent and place the island on the global fashion calendar.

Tierra del Sol is home to Aruba’s only 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II and spread across nearly 600 acres. Its restaurant, The Birdie, serves international and Caribbean dishes, and the 19th Hole Bar has indoor and terrace seating.

JOIA Aruba, a five-star resort on Eagle Beach, will be the base for designers, models and visitors. It hosted runway shows and other activations at the 2025 edition. The resort has ocean-view suites, a spa, an infinity pool, three speciality restaurants, a buffet, five bars, a café and a rooftop bar, and is offering rates for attendees under the code FASHIONWEEK26.

“Tierra del Sol is honored to welcome Aruba Fashion Week for its 10th anniversary,” said Ashiko Martinus, Director of Tierra del Sol by Iberostar. “Our setting provides a unique combination of natural beauty, refined hospitality and space for extraordinary events.” She said the milestone reflected Aruba’s international appeal as a destination for creativity and luxury.

“We are delighted to welcome the fashion community back to Aruba for this very special 10th anniversary,” said Arnaud Le Lanchon, General Manager of JOIA Aruba by Iberostar. He added that the event and the resort “share a natural connection through our commitment” to bringing the spirit of Aruba to life.

The fashion week adds to a growing events calendar on the island, which last month welcomed the return of the Autentico culinary festival.

Iberostar is a Spanish, family-owned group with roots dating back to 1877. Its hotel division operates around 26,800 rooms in more than 80 four- and five-star hotels across 13 countries, excluding its interests in Cuba, and its beachfront resorts, under the Waves, Selection and JOIA brands, welcome about 2.5mn guests a year.
