K-pop concerts are driving higher advance flight bookings for Nagoya, Singapore and Bangkok, according to Amadeus data released on October 20.
Flight bookings for the December concert window in Nagoya, where BIGBANG will perform, are double the comparable 2025 level. South Korea accounts for 37% of bookings.
International air bookings for Singapore’s BTS concert period are up 62% year on year. For Bangkok’s concert week, bookings are 41% higher.
Singapore hotel occupancy on the books averages 32% for December 17–22, 49% above the equivalent booking position last year. Occupancy reaches 40% on December 19, a relative increase of 68%.
These are forward bookings for future stays, rather than completed arrivals or final occupancy figures.
Average Singapore room rates across the period are 6% higher at $237. Bangkok rates are around 15% higher across its concert week.
Paul Wilson, Amadeus’ Asia-Pacific hospitality senior vice-president, said destinations and hotels could use concert demand to encourage longer stays.
The data comes as airlines plan additional Asian capacity, including Lufthansa Group’s summer 2027 expansion, which includes services to Nagoya and Tokyo Narita.
