Twin Falls waterfall near Clemson in Lake Hartwell Country

Lake Hartwell Country has released an online waterfall guide for visitors planning autumn trips around Clemson, South Carolina, as cooler weather and leaf colour drive demand for short outdoor breaks.

The regional tourism office, which covers Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties, said the guide brings together trail lengths, difficulty ratings and GPS coordinates for waterfalls across the area. It is designed to help travellers compare hikes before they arrive, particularly families, day-trippers and visitors staying near Clemson.

Highlighted sites include Waldrop Stone Falls in the Clemson Experimental Forest, Issaqueena Falls near Walhalla, Yellow Branch Falls, King Creek Falls, Spoonauger Falls and Twin Falls, also known as Eastatoe Falls.

The guide positions waterfalls as a practical fall travel hook for the region, combining accessible nature, short drives and shoulder-season visitor demand.

Lake Hartwell Country said outdoor recreation remains one of the main reasons travellers visit the area.
