Sun Group will promote Phu Quoc as a meetings and events destination at ITB Asia in Singapore, ahead of the Vietnamese island hosting APEC 2027, the company said on October 20.
The group’s first appearance at the trade show, running from October 21–23, will combine its airline, hotels and attractions in an offer for international travel partners.
Its ten-booth pavilion will present convention, hospitality and infrastructure plans intended to serve APEC and support subsequent international conferences.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways and representatives of seven hotels and hotel clusters will participate, covering Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Quang Ninh and Hanoi.
Visa will join the group to introduce Visit Vietnam, a government-endorsed tourism platform developed and operated by Sun Group. It brings together destination information and travel services and provides a channel for joint marketing.
The presentation follows a strategic partnership between Sun Group and Visa signed in September. The company is targeting long-term leisure and conference business.
Digital distribution is also attracting attention elsewhere in emerging tourism markets. Jordan’s Ahlan by Jordan platform brings inbound packages and trip planning into a single portal.
