Athens-based hotel technology group WebHotelier-PrimalRes has rebranded as RevPlus to bring its booking, distribution and property management tools under one name, the company said on October 15.

RevPlus serves more than 21,800 properties in 39 countries and leads its home markets of Greece and Cyprus, with more than 400 properties in Italy and a strong presence in the Balkans. The rebrand comes as hotel technology suppliers bundle booking engines, channel managers and revenue tools into single platforms for independent hotels and rentals.

The group will unveil the first RevPlus products, a redesigned booking engine and a new channel manager, at the Xenia hospitality trade fair in Athens on November 22. The booking engine has a mobile-first design, single-flow multi-room booking and smart rate grouping.

RevPlus also offers a cloud property management system, a vacation rental platform, payment tools, an AI-powered revenue management system and a B2B marketplace linking properties with more than 55,000 travel agencies in 160 countries, plus 36 add-ons.

“Our new name marks a very important moment in the group’s 18-year history,” said chief executive Panos Kontozamanis. The company said “Rev” stands for revolutionary and “Plus” for the value of its products working together.

The group traces its roots to 2008, when two companies launched the WebHotelier booking engine and the PrimalRes channel manager. They later merged and now have offices in Greece, Cyprus, Italy and the Balkans.
