Emirates Skywards is bringing back its Mile-A-Minute offer, giving members one bonus mile for every minute spent in Dubai, up to 7,200 miles, it said on October 22.

The loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai is using the promotion to pull visitors into the city’s winter season of festivals and events. Dubai drew 6.97mn international overnight visitors between January and August, against 19.59mn in the whole of 2025.

August’s 869,000 visitors were the city’s strongest month since February, with hotel occupancy at 66%. Winter fixtures such as the Dubai City Half Marathon and Emirates’ expanding network, including its new Helsinki route, feed the same push.

Members must register and book an eligible return flight on Emirates or flydubai between October 21 and November 5, for travel between October 21 and December 13.

The 7,200-mile cap equals five days in Dubai. The offer covers all cabin classes and fare types, and the bonus miles come on top of those earned on the ticket.

First run in 2021, the offer sits alongside Skywards partners in the city. Members can earn miles on stays at Atlantis The Palm, on desert safaris and tours with Arabian Adventures, and on purchases at Dubai Mall.

The Skywards Everyday app lets members link up to five payment cards and earn miles at hundreds of UAE brands. Miles can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, hotel stays and Skywards Exclusives, or used with Cash + Miles.

Emirates Skywards launched in 2000 and has more than 37mn members.
