Porter Airlines will launch five year-round domestic routes from London International Airport (YXU) in spring 2027, the airline said on October 6.
The routes connect Southwestern Ontario to Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal-MET, Ottawa and Vancouver, giving travel agents and corporate travel buyers in the region more domestic options across Canada.
London to Halifax and Vancouver start on April 12, 2027 on the Embraer E195-E2, with up to seven and 11 weekly flights at peak. London to Edmonton starts on May 6 on the same aircraft, with up to seven weekly flights. London to Ottawa and Montreal-MET start on April 12 on the Dash 8-400, with up to 20 weekly flights each at peak.
Porter president Kevin Jackson said the expansion "demonstrates that Porter is committed to making London a meaningful part of our network".
The routes follow Porter’s recent announcement of four winter sun routes to Florida, Mexico and Jamaica. Porter’s aircraft have no middle seats, and fares include complimentary beverages and premium snacks.
The carrier was recently named the preferred airline partner for BMO’s Blue Rewards programme.
The Embraer E195-E2 and Dash 8-400 are the two aircraft types on the new London network.
