Abu Dhabi’s ADNEC Group will host the ADIPEC energy show and World Travel Market (WTM) London in the same week in November, at its venues in Abu Dhabi and London, the group said on October 30.

Both shows run on Abu Dhabi-owned floors. ADIPEC takes place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from November 2-5, while WTM London, one of the travel industry’s biggest trade gatherings, runs at the group’s ExCeL London venue from November 3-5.

ADIPEC, which has been held at ADNEC Centre since 2006, is set for its largest edition. It will take up the venue’s entire 153,000 square metres of exhibition space plus additional temporary halls, with more than 2,000 exhibitors, country pavilions and zones for digitalisation, decarbonisation and artificial intelligence.

At ExCeL, WTM London will bring together tourism boards, travel brands and industry executives. This year’s show adds an invite-only Leaders’ Summit for heads of national tourism boards alongside the 20th Ministers’ Summit, with Expedia, Skyscanner and Booking.com among speakers on its content stages.

ADNEC Group said it expects hundreds of thousands of participants across the two cities.

ADNEC Group is part of Modon, the Abu Dhabi real estate and hospitality developer behind projects including Ras El Hekma on Egypt’s north coast. The group owns and operates ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and ExCeL London, and organises and hosts exhibitions, conferences and events.
