Visit Qatar is offering UK travellers flying with Qatar Airways two free nights at participating four-star hotels when they stop over in Doha, the tourism body said after launching the promotion at WTM London on November 4.

The Stopover Your Way offer, developed with Qatar Airways and Discover Qatar, applies to new eligible Qatar Airways bookings made between November 16 and February 16, 2027, for stopovers taken between November 19 and September 30, 2027.

The two nights cover a standard room for single or double occupancy. Travellers can upgrade to a five-star hotel by paying the difference, or extend the stopover to three or four nights at extra cost. The offer is sold through Qatar Airways and travel trade booking channels, excludes existing stopover reservations and one-night stays, and is subject to blackout dates and booking restrictions.

The promotion pitches Qatar to transit passengers as a destination in its own right, from museums and beaches to desert trips and dining. It comes as Qatar received 2.95mn visitors in the first 10 months of 2026, with Europe among the markets driving October’s gain, and in the same week that Qatar Tourism joined PATA at the show.

Visit Qatar is leading a delegation of 40 partners, including hotels, resorts, destination management companies and tourism organisations, at the Qatar Pavilion at WTM London, its 12th consecutive year at the event, which runs at ExCeL London until November 5.

Visit Qatar is the destination brand of Qatar Tourism, the government body that develops and promotes the country’s tourism sector. Discover Qatar is the destination management company of the Qatar Airways Group.
