Wizz Air will resume Dubai and Abu Dhabi flights from October 25 as part of a wider Middle East return, it announced on September 9.
The airline plans to restore 12 routes and 49 weekly services across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan during the winter season. The programme will offer 470,000 seats linking nine European cities with four Middle Eastern destinations.
Flights to Jeddah and Amman resumed earlier in the week, while the UAE services are scheduled to restart with the winter timetable. Tickets for all four destinations are on sale.
The announcement follows the closure of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s locally based operations in September 2025. The restoration of European connections does not amount to an announcement that the UAE subsidiary will reopen.
Wizz Air said the phased return followed updated European Union Aviation Safety Agency conflict-zone recommendations and its own operational and security assessments.
The carrier said it would continue monitoring developments and coordinating with relevant authorities. All services remain subject to ongoing safety and operational reviews.
The winter programme targets European demand for travel to warmer destinations, with the airline promoting leisure and cultural trips across the four markets.
