Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: WH) and developer Sugee Group will build the world’s first Vienna House Residences by Wyndham on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the companies said on October 25.

The project marks the Middle East debut of Wyndham’s European lifestyle brand Vienna House and its first branded residences. Ras Al Khaimah has been adding hotel supply as visitor numbers climb, after posting a record 670,000 visitors in the first half of 2026.

The fully furnished, hospitality-led residences will be the first branded residences on the island to offer short-term rentals, giving owners rental income under an international hotel brand.

Buyers will receive a year of complimentary Wyndham Rewards Platinum membership and preferred rates at more than 8,400 Wyndham hotels.

“Bringing the world’s first Vienna House Residences by Wyndham to Al Marjan Island reflects our ambition to curate growth by bringing the right partners and distinctive concepts to Ras Al Khaimah,” said Sheikh Saqr bin Omar Al Qasimi, CEO of Marjan Development.

Dimitris Manikis, president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said the project “marks a key moment as we introduce the brand to the Middle East, alongside its inaugural global branded residences.”

The agreement was signed in Dubai. Sugee Group has appointed Invespy as its UAE sales partner and opened a sales centre in Dubai Marina.

Sugee Group is an international real estate developer with nearly four decades of experience. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is one of the world’s largest hotel franchising companies, with more than 8,400 hotels.
