The Seychelles Tourism Board takes 12 partners to WTM London 2026 to court UK trade after air disruption hit arrivals from a traditional source market.

The Seychelles Tourism Board will take 12 partners to WTM London on November 3-5 to court UK trade after air disruption hit arrivals, it said on November 1.

The UK is a traditional source market for the Indian Ocean archipelago. The board said disruption to air travel earlier this year hit visitor arrivals from the UK. It is backing demand through trade meetings and destination promotion.

Minister for Tourism and Culture Amanda Bernstein leads the delegation. She is joined by board chief executive Vesna Rakic, UK and Nordics manager Karen Confait and senior marketing executive Myra Fanchette.

The partners include destination management companies 7° South, Mason’s Travel and Creole Travel Services. Hotels taking part include Anantara Maia Seychelles, Kempinski Seychelles Resort, Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa and Canopy by Hilton Seychelles.

“The UK remains an important traditional market for Seychelles, with long-standing ties to our destination,” Rakic said. “Through close collaboration with our local industry and UK travel trade partners, we remain committed to strengthening Seychelles’ position in the market.”

Meetings will run at stand 11-520 in Hall 11 at ExCeL London. The World Bank has set out plans to position Seychelles as a regional centre of excellence for sustainable tourism.

The board is running a campaign on buses across Central London, with branded taxis to follow.
